Lovely Grub in Mt Cook’s shadow

• 160 guests ate in an open field 5 kilometers east of Mt Cook
• An amazing buffet of mutton birds, cray fish, whitebait, beer battered & poached fish, venison, rib eye beef, half shell mussels, scallops, 5 salads and 3 hot vegetables
• The marquee and hire equipment was supplied and erected by Lovely Grub
• This event was catered for during the 2006 Maadi Cup where we were catering 3 meals per day for 285 rowers for 8 days in Twizel

Congratulations Hamilton Boys High School

• 2006 285 rowers, 2008 271 rowers (7000 meals in 9 days)
• Especially designed menus with high carbohydrate and very low fat for high performing rowers
• This year Lovely Grub’s food powered the winning boys 8 crew. Hamilton Boys High School. We also had 3 other crews in the final

National Methodist Conference

Lovely ladies from Fiji

• 2005 Christchurch two and a half days of service 1200 meals and 650 morning and afternoon teas
• 2007 Wellington 285 guest attending. 5 days of service 2745 meals and 2555 morning and afternoon teas
• Menus reflected the strong support from the Pacific Islands
• Both conferences used our mobile kitchens to supply a wide variety of food to venues which had minimal kitchen facilities.

Lyttleton Port Company - The Long Lunch

Lovely Grub delivering the Lyttelton Port Company’s  “Long Lunch”

• 400 guests seated at one continuous table for a 3 course plated luncheon sponsored by the Lyttleton Port Company.
• Lovely Grub coordinated and set up all the equipment in the “riding for the disabled centre”, in a matter of a few hours after the outdoor venue was changed due to bad weather.
